Summary
Apple is seeking forward-thinking individuals to lead Supply and Demand Management (SDM) for various product lines. This role is crucial for maintaining Apple's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The position involves analyzing demand and securing supply to support all of Apple's sales channels in the APAC region, including the Online Store, Retail Chain, and Reseller Channel. Success in this role requires strong analytical, planning, and account management skills within a dynamic consumer goods environment. You will be responsible for developing, communicating, and executing comprehensive product demand and supply plans across all distribution channels. As part of the APAC SDM Planning organization, there may be opportunities to support other product ranges as the business evolves. The ideal candidate possesses strategic thinking, tactical execution capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and comfort with numerical data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Sales Finance, and Worldwide planning teams to harmonize regional supply and demand.
- Generate forecasts for end-consumer demand across all sales channels, identifying and planning for associated risks.
- Develop and execute weekly and quarterly supply and demand plans aligned with Apple's financial targets.
- Present forecast performance, highlighting business trend shifts to facilitate strategic discussions.
- Conduct weekly product sales analysis to identify opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional partners to maximize end-consumer sales.
- Work closely with various teams to ensure effective implementation of plans.
- Drive analysis for new product introduction launch quantities and manage smooth product transitions.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the product planning lifecycle, managing resources and project completion.
- Monitor and enhance key performance metrics through ongoing process development.
- Perform root cause analyses for any deviations and develop corrective action plans.
- Deliver regular product updates and strategic recommendations to Operations leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain, planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role.
- Exceptional data analysis and quantitative skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.
- Analytical planning skills focused on delivering solutions.
- A strong work ethic, demonstrating perseverance and adaptability.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage challenges in a fast-paced setting.
- Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in at least one Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience in fields requiring extensive quantitative analysis, such as finance or consulting, is advantageous.
- Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or manufacturing operations is a plus.
