Role Summary
The company is seeking an experienced, performance-oriented sales leader to head sales for electric trucks and buses within its EV commercial vehicle portfolio. This position is responsible for expanding market reach, developing customer partnerships, and scaling revenue across logistics, fleet, and institutional segments.
The role will be central to accelerating adoption of electric commercial vehicles while supporting growth goals and sustainability priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete sales cycle for electric trucks across the assigned geography and business segments.
- Build and grow opportunities with fleet owners, logistics businesses, and institutional buyers.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Own important customer relationships and strengthen long-term account value.
- Study market movements and contribute to go-to-market planning.
- Sell complete solutions that may include charging support, financing, and leasing options.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, After-Sales, and Finance.
- Track the sales funnel, maintain reporting discipline, and support forecasting.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should hold an MBA or PGDM in Sales/Marketing and bring 15 to 20 years of experience in commercial vehicle, EV, or B2B sales. Prior exposure to fleet sales or institutional selling is required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of the EV and commercial vehicle ecosystem.
- Effective consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
- Capability to manage stakeholders and influence decisions.
- Good commercial thinking, especially around TCO and ROI-based sales.
- High accountability and strong execution orientation.
Preferred Experience
- Direct experience in the EV sector.
- Exposure to logistics and fleet-driven sales environments.
- Awareness of EV policy frameworks and charging infrastructure.
Location
The role may be based in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, or Bhubaneswar.
