Regional Projects Manager, Regional Logistics

Role overview

Shopee is seeking a Regional Projects Manager to own the planning and delivery of major infrastructure, capex, and automation programs for its logistics operations. The position focuses on coordinating complex, cross-market initiatives, setting up strong governance, and making sure each project is completed on schedule, within scope, and with clear business results.

The right person for this role will be practical, well-organized, and focused on outcomes. You should be comfortable working through uncertainty, making timely decisions, and bringing multiple stakeholders together to keep execution moving.

Project planning and execution

• Take charge of the full lifecycle for regional infrastructure, capex, and automation initiatives across several markets.
• Convert business goals into defined project scopes, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and measurable success indicators.
• Oversee daily execution and keep delivery aligned with timeline, budget, and performance goals.
• Spot risks, dependencies, and blockers early, then put mitigation or recovery actions in place.
• Push for timely decisions and close out issues that could slow or stop delivery.

Vendor and delivery management

• Serve as the main point of contact for external vendors during project delivery.
• Set delivery expectations, track progress against milestones, and coordinate dependencies across vendors and internal teams.
• Review vendor performance and drive issue resolution so commitments are met.
• Escalate high-risk matters with a clear explanation of impact and proposed next steps.

Governance, risk, and quality management

• Build and maintain project governance processes, documentation, and approval flows.
• Lead milestone reviews, readiness checks, and go/no-go decisions.
• Make sure all work follows internal standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
• Document lessons learned and carry improvements into future projects and markets.

Regional stakeholder management and reporting

• Work closely with regional and local stakeholders across operations, engineering, finance, and legal.
• Bring cross-functional teams into alignment on priorities, timelines, and ownership.
• Compile market updates and prepare clear, well-structured reporting for senior leadership.
• Keep communication strong between headquarters and local execution teams to support alignment and disciplined delivery.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a closely related area.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, operations, or large-scale project delivery in logistics, infrastructure, automation, or e-commerce settings.
• A demonstrated history of handling end-to-end project execution across multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making ability, with a record of resolving issues under delivery pressure.
• Experience partnering with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• A strong sense of ownership, structured working style, and high attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support project execution.
