Role overview
Chubb Asia Pacific is looking for a senior leader to define and steer the region’s strategy for data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. This executive position sits on the regional leadership team and is responsible for turning data-led ideas into measurable business outcomes across multiple countries.
The role combines strategic leadership, cross-functional partnership, and hands-on oversight of advanced data and AI programs. It also involves working directly with clients, partners, brokers, and their analytics teams to co-develop solutions that support profitable growth.
What you will do
- Set the direction for the APAC data, analytics, and AI agenda so it stays aligned with global priorities and regional business goals.
- Contribute as a senior executive voice on data-led transformation and innovation.
- Promote a culture that uses data to improve decisions, encourage innovation, and support continuous improvement.
- Spot opportunities and build business cases for analytics and AI initiatives that improve growth, efficiency, and performance.
- Work closely with leaders across commercial and consumer lines to identify and rank the most valuable data and AI opportunities.
- Partner with functions such as underwriting, claims, finance, IT, and marketing to create enterprise-wide impact.
- Serve as the regional connector with global data, analytics, and AI teams to keep efforts aligned and share best practices.
- Oversee the creation and rollout of advanced analytics, AI, and data solutions across several countries.
- Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and suitable for business and regulatory needs.
- Track outcomes and report on the business value and return on investment from data, analytics, and AI spend.
- Lead, coach, and grow a diverse regional team of data, analytics, and AI professionals.
- Strengthen team capability through hiring, development, and a high-performance environment.
- Apply governance, quality, and privacy standards for data and AI in line with global and regional requirements.
- Make sure all work follows legal, regulatory, and internal policy obligations.

- A strong history of delivering data and analytics strategy and large-scale transformation across multiple countries or regions.

- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, data management, and practical AI use cases.
- Ability to work with senior business and functional leaders to create value through data-driven solutions.
- Experience influencing clients and sponsors to shape analytics initiatives and build shared capabilities.
- Comfort operating in a global matrix environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and change leadership abilities.
- An advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
Technical expectations
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, including cloud, lakehouse, and ETL/ELT architectures.
- Practical experience with machine learning, generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and moving models into production.
- Experience designing data pipelines, managing feature stores, and monitoring machine learning models.
- Ability to use enterprise tools and advanced analytics to generate commercial and operational insights.
- Knowledge of data and AI governance, quality, lineage, and regulatory compliance.
