Role overview
Vybnest is growing its presence across Ghana and is seeking motivated, community-minded people to join its Regional Community Moderator Development Program. This position supports the creation of a safe, welcoming, and active environment for members across the platform.
The moderator will help drive healthy conversations, support member onboarding, and contribute to a positive community experience in Ghana’s regions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee discussions within the community and encourage constructive participation.
- Help new members get started and settled into the platform within your region.
- Spot, review, and escalate content that is inappropriate or harmful.
- Respond to member questions and point them to the right resources.
- Share observations and suggestions to improve the platform and user experience.
- Take part in testing activities, review sessions, and moderator training.
- Support regional growth initiatives and community events.
Requirements and qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years or older and live in Ghana.
- Education may be SHS Certificate, Diploma, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or any higher qualification.
- Previous exposure to community moderation, customer service, social media management, volunteer leadership, or online communities is helpful but not mandatory.
- Strong written and spoken communication is essential.
- You should be able to handle disagreements and solve problems effectively.
- Comfort with smartphones, computers, and online collaboration tools is required.
- A dependable internet connection is necessary.
- You must be able to work on your own with minimal supervision.
