Job description

About the Company

Re.Group is an Australian-owned organisation that develops solutions for recovering value from waste and recycling streams. Its long-term goal is a society where materials are kept in use rather than sent to landfill, supporting a cleaner and less wasteful future.

The business places strong emphasis on creating positive outcomes for local communities and works alongside charities, private organisations, and government partners to deliver that impact.

About the Role

This position is based in a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), which is a recycling plant where mixed recyclables are processed. The role involves sorting items that arrive from recycling bins so they can be separated into paper, glass, reusable plastics, and metal for further recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Separate recyclable materials as they move along a conveyor system.
  • Remove unwanted waste to protect machinery and maintain product quality.
  • Inspect materials and place them into the correct sections according to type, size, condition, or colour.
  • Escalate any equipment or process issues to management without delay.

Additional Information

If you are looking for a position that contributes positively to the environment, you are encouraged to send in your resume.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
