Role overview

Comfort Keepers Ireland is hiring a Recruitment Coordinator to support its recruitment function and help strengthen the workforce that delivers homecare services across Ireland. This position sits within the recruitment team and contributes to efficient hiring, policy compliance, and continuous process improvement.

In this role, you will manage key parts of the recruitment journey, collaborate closely with internal teams, and help ensure that hiring practices align with company standards and HSE requirements. The ideal candidate will combine strong organisation, responsibility, and a drive for operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial contact for incoming candidates.
  • Manage the carer hiring process for assigned offices, focusing on speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Track recruitment KPIs and use the data to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Refine hiring workflows to reduce time-to-hire while staying aligned with HSE tender rules and internal procedures.
  • Support application screening, interviews, and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure compliance across training, Garda clearance, reference verification, and contract requirements.
  • Help deliver new starter orientation and keep training records up to date so staff are properly prepared.

What you bring

  • A proactive approach and a genuine interest in people, operations, and results.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • A sense of ownership and accountability in day-to-day work.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to assess processes and identify improvements.
  • The ability to stay composed and resilient in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative.

Experience and technical knowledge

  • Prior experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally within home care.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as HR administration software.
  • A track record of meeting KPIs and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and applicant tracking systems.

Working pattern and benefits

This is a full-time onsite role based in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. The working week is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays.

The package includes a competitive salary aligned to experience, discounted healthcare, a birthday day off, increased annual leave with service tenure, an Employee Assistance Programme, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
