Job description
About the Role
MaxAI is building the infrastructure that helps healthcare providers get paid correctly, and this role sits at the center of that growth. As a People Ops recruiting specialist, you will support the company as it scales across multiple functions by managing hiring activity end to end.
What You’ll Do
You will work closely with a People Ops advisor and the CEO, taking ownership of the hiring journey from sourcing to pre-onboarding. You will represent MaxAI to candidates and serve as their main point of contact throughout the application process.
- Find, promote, and develop candidate pipelines across several teams and functions, including engineering, medical billing/coding, and operations.
- Conduct first-round outreach and screening conversations to assess both capability and culture fit.
- Run the recruiting process from start to finish, making sure candidates and internal teams experience a smooth and organized workflow.
- Act as the primary communication hub for candidates and hiring stakeholders, guiding the process and stepping in to improve or adjust where needed.
- Monitor hiring results and candidate feedback so process improvements can be made quickly.
- Prepare and refresh recruitment marketing content and materials to help attract strong talent.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally within startups or fast-growing small and medium-sized businesses.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with particular strength in interviewing.
- Comfort using a range of recruiting tools, software, and hiring platforms.
- Ability to take full ownership of your responsibilities while working well with others.
- Availability to work in US Eastern Time hours.
- Willingness to complete a skills test or case study during the interview process.
Why You’ll Love It Here
You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-energy team where careful work and fast execution have a direct impact on whether clients are paid correctly and patients receive the care they need.
Offers
- Competitive full-time compensation, aligned to experience and location.
- Health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Paid time off.
- Additional company perks.
Additional Information
This is a remote role based in the United States. The company is early stage and growing quickly, so the people who join now will help shape the organization while also contributing to the larger mission of improving a broken industry.
