Role overview
Empowered Hospitality is looking for a recruiter to join its Talent team in the New York City metropolitan area. In this position, you will help manage a large volume of searches across hourly, management, and executive roles, applying strong recruiting practices while ensuring a standout experience for candidates throughout the hiring journey.
You will partner closely with the Client Services team, which owns the client relationship, while you concentrate on finding, engaging, and guiding high-quality talent through each stage of recruitment. The team values strong curiosity, a dedication to excellence, and a consistently high level of professional ethics and integrity.

- Bringing forward new ideas and modern recruiting methods to improve overall hiring effectiveness
- Building candidate and client relationships that support talent pipelines and business growth
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for important leadership positions
- Understand client hiring needs and provide advice on talent acquisition and retention approaches
- Design and improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to strengthen team impact
- Conduct training sessions that build recruiting capability among E|H staff and client leaders
- Share regular progress updates with clients and join meetings to review status, answer questions, and discuss next steps
- Raise possible concerns or risks promptly to E|H leadership
- Develop and maintain relationships that expand the E|H network, reinforce the brand, and uncover potential candidates and clients
Experience and education
This role calls for previous experience in a recruiting leadership position, with evidence of strategic thinking, executive-level communication, and strong relationship management. Background in hospitality management is preferred. Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams is also important. Strong Microsoft Office skills, business communication ability, and problem-solving capability are expected. A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in human resources, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
