Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity at Moxy Glasgow Merchant City for a crew member who can combine front-desk hospitality with bar service. The role sits within Hotel Co 51, a hotel management company based in Amsterdam and part of the Vastint Group. Hotel Co 51 operates more than 30 hotels under franchise agreements with Marriott International, mainly Moxy Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn, with further expansion planned.

What you will do
- Welcome guests warmly and help create a memorable stay.
- Handle arrivals and departures, along with managing room inventory in the Moxy style.
- Run food and beverage areas in line with brand standards.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately.
- Prepare food, keep areas clean and organised, restock supplies, receive deliveries and maintain back-of-house spaces.
- Work safely by following food safety, licensing, and health and safety rules.
- Support fellow crew members and take guidance from crew leaders.
- Represent and encourage use of the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.
What we are looking for
- High-energy people with a confident, self-starting attitude.
- Someone who enjoys interacting with guests and building rapport easily.
- A strong multitasker who can stay productive while delivering good service.
- A professional who understands that being relaxed is not the same as being unmotivated.
- Clear English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in hospitality or other service roles.
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros is useful.
- Awareness of food safety and licensing legislation is beneficial.
- Personal travel or travel-industry exposure is considered an asset.
