About the Role
This is a permanent position for an experienced Quantity Surveyor based in Bicester, specializing in residential groundworks. The role involves working within a commercial team at a successful company with an annual turnover of £20 million, supporting multiple ongoing and tendering projects. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, benefits including a car allowance or company car, paid holidays, and access to a pension scheme. There is also potential for hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize profitability of contracts through effective management.
- Prepare accurate quotations for clients concerning project variations.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of residential groundworks activities.
- Generate detailed monthly reports on costs and project values.
- Perform all daily functions typically expected of a Quantity Surveyor.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor specifically in residential groundworks.
- Strong time management capabilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Competence in value engineering methodologies.
- Proficient use of Microsoft software suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
