Job description
Role Overview
The Quality Executive will oversee quality control for detergent manufacturing operations, ensuring that raw inputs, products in process, and completed goods consistently satisfy company specifications and applicable regulatory standards. This position centers on testing, documentation, process oversight, defect investigation, and ongoing quality enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Check incoming raw materials, packaging supplies, and completed detergent products to confirm they meet required standards.
- Carry out laboratory analysis of detergent powders using approved test procedures.
- Observe production activities to verify adherence to quality requirements.
- Complete in-process quality verification and authorize production batches when they meet standards.
- Keep accurate quality logs, inspection summaries, and laboratory records.
- Examine customer complaints and product defects through structured root-cause analysis.
- Make sure operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO requirements, and safety rules.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments and oversee routine upkeep of testing equipment.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, and R&D teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or quality control within detergent, soap, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing.
