Job description
Role Overview
Albert Bartlett is looking for a quality assurance specialist to support day-shift operations in Airdrie, Scotland. The role focuses on making sure manufactured products consistently meet high standards of safety and quality, while helping teams improve processes and maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections and audits to confirm compliance with both company standards and outside regulatory requirements.
- Partner with production and technical colleagues to spot quality concerns and help resolve them quickly.
- Help create, update, and roll out quality control procedures and supporting records.
- Assist with internal and external audit activity by preparing documentation and responding to any issues identified.
- Track adherence to food safety rules and internal company policies.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts that aim to raise product quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quality assurance or quality control, ideally in food manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of food safety requirements and quality management systems.
- Strong eye for detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team while meeting deadlines and quality goals.
