Job description
Overview
This opportunity is for a Quality Assurance Analyst I supporting a global leader in vision care and surgical devices. The role is based onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, and is offered as a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion.
The position is focused on day-to-day quality activities in a regulated manufacturing setting, with an emphasis on product quality, accurate records, and compliance with applicable standards.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Benefits include medical coverage, dental coverage, holiday leave, PTO, and 401(k) matching.
Responsibilities
- Carry out standard quality assurance activities on the shop floor in line with approved procedures and work instructions.
- Track product quality during manufacturing and raise any quality concerns that arise.
- Keep documentation complete and accurate while adhering to GMP/GxP expectations.
- Apply SOPs and quality requirements to help maintain compliance and product standards.
- Handle assigned work carefully, with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and reliability.
- Take part in mandatory training and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Applicants should be detail-oriented and comfortable maintaining records accurately. The ability to follow defined procedures in a controlled manufacturing environment is important.
Experience in quality, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or similar industries is preferred. A degree is preferred but not required.
