  • Build and sustain relationships with suppliers in India and abroad.
  • Negotiate costs, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial agreements with vendors.
  • Raise purchase orders and track their execution through completion.
  • Keep material flow on schedule so production and operations do not face delays.
  • Monitor market pricing, vendor alternatives, and sourcing options to support better purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain procurement MIS records and coordinate stock planning.

Import Management

  • Oversee the full import cycle, from selecting suppliers to receiving the shipment.
  • Work with overseas vendors, freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners.

  • Handle duty structure, HS code mapping, and import compliance requirements.

Vendor Development and Coordination

  • Source and develop new suppliers in China and other international markets.

  • Resolve vendor concerns related to quality issues, delays, shortages, and pricing disputes.
  • Maintain clear communication with overseas factories and sourcing agents.
