Role overview

Ali & Sons Holding LLC is seeking a Public Relations Officer to support the HR function with government-related processing and employee documentation. The role focuses on ensuring all visa, labour, immigration, and related records are handled accurately, on time, and in line with UAE regulations across the group and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team on visa processing, joining paperwork, and documentation needed for incoming employees.
  • Draft and submit Arabic paperwork for visas, labour cards, sponsorships, permits, and licences.
  • Handle fresh applications and renewals for employee visas and labour cards across the organisation.
  • Manage Mission Visa requests, CICPA Security Pass applications, and the associated renewal process.
  • Coordinate with government departments to keep employee records and documentation compliant with current rules.
  • Track permissions, licences, approvals, and other formal requirements with the relevant authorities.
  • Keep legal and employee files complete, orderly, and up to date.
  • Partner with HR Operations on medical insurance applications, renewals, and employee service requests.
  • Update employee details in the HR system to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with other government relations and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications and experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, or a qualification in a closely related discipline, is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Government Relations, Public Relations, HR Administration, or a similar UAE-based role is needed.
  • Good working knowledge of UAE labour, immigration, and government procedures is essential.
  • Hindi language ability will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools is required.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills are important.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying precise and maintaining confidentiality is necessary.
