Public Relations Officer

About the Role

Miss Doctor is looking for a state-based brand ambassador to represent the Miss Doctor App and promote its mission, growth, and reputation. This position suits someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about the product, aligned with its goals, and willing to actively support its success.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledgeable representative of the app and explain its value clearly and positively.
• Respond to questions accurately, address misunderstandings, and advocate for the product in a professional manner.
• Identify opportunities to build awareness, expand the user base, and support revenue growth.
• Share marketing materials with graduate and professional schools, professional associations, community groups, the public, and across social media.
• Reach out to media outlets, magazines, and news platforms; help prepare press releases and, where possible, support radio and television appearances.
• Attend relevant local events and conferences to promote the app to target audiences.
• Assist with planning launches and other social or promotional events.
• Contribute ideas for product improvements, including design updates and new feature suggestions.
• Collect and summarize customer and competitor feedback to support product development, user growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in executive board meetings as needed, including remote meetings and conference calls.

Qualifications

• A medical professional is preferred; applicants with any professional or doctoral qualification, including both female and male candidates, may apply.
• Availability of time to actively carry out the role.
• A visible online or social media presence is desirable; experience with blogs, articles, newsletters, or podcasts is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the company’s vision and the product in all its aspects.
• Good leadership, interpersonal, public speaking, and writing abilities.
• Ability to communicate well and collaborate effectively with others.
• High standards of professionalism, responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong strategic planning skills and a commitment to quality and excellence.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Preferred Background

• Additional education or experience in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, product development, management, technology, or finance.
• A personable nature with the ability to network and build relationships.
• Prior experience with online dating platforms or apps is an advantage.
