Role overview
This position is central to keeping government-related processes moving smoothly for projects and operations in Dubai. The selected candidate will manage approvals, permits, and compliance tasks to help avoid delays and penalties.
Key responsibilities
- Manage liaison activities with government bodies for visas, labor cards, permits, no-objection certificates, and municipality clearances.
- Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, MOHRE, GDRFA, RTA, DEWA, and Civil Defense to secure construction-related approvals.
- Arrange and follow up on site-level permits needed for mobilization, safety, and inspections.
- Monitor regulatory requirements that may affect project schedules or lead to fines.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- The role calls for 5 to 7 years of experience handling immigration and labour-related matters.
Required skills
- Fluency in Arabic.
- Working knowledge of English.
- Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and wider regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable dealing with different stakeholders and officials.
- Good awareness of government procedures and affairs.
- Ability to remain flexible with working hours and resolve immigration or labour issues as they arise.
- Dependable, committed, and willing to work hard.
