Job description
Role overview
The Public Relations Officer for building projects will represent Woh Hup at site level and support the Project Manager in handling public relations activities connected to the works.
Key duties
- Coordinate with the Developer and Engineer on all public relations matters, including stakeholder engagement, public communication, and feedback handling.
- Plan, create, produce, and circulate communication collaterals such as newsletters, flyers, circulars, and brochures for public relations purposes.
- Organize outreach and engagement sessions, including briefings, dialogue sessions, and exhibitions for building project stakeholders.
- Use digital and social media channels, including Facebook Groups, to engage stakeholders more effectively.
- Share construction progress updates with nearby residents and other affected parties during the project period, especially around major works such as excavation, piling, and concreting.
- Follow workplace safety rules and maintain safe practices on site.
Qualifications and experience
The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position, ideally within building projects. Applicants should have a minimum of GCE “A” Level or a Diploma in a related field.
