Role overview
This position supports the public relations function for a travel platform serving more than 50 million users. The role focuses on helping the team deliver clear, timely, and effective communications so customers and stakeholders receive accurate information and a smoother travel experience.
Key responsibilities
- Support PR initiatives across Corporate Communications, Brand Marketing, vertical businesses, and Government Relations.
- Create and refine communication assets for PR activities, such as article pitches, press releases, media Q&A materials, and speaker briefing books.
- Help prepare and maintain daily media monitoring updates, including weekly reporting.
- Conduct competitor research on a regular basis and use the findings to suggest practical recommendations for the PR team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the company as needed.
- Act as the primary contact for media questions, including preparing initial Q&A drafts and sharing approved responses with journalists.
Candidate profile
- Best suited for a recent graduate in Communications, International Relations, or a closely related field.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable following tourism and travel developments, both in traditional media and digital media.
- Creative mindset with openness to new collaboration opportunities involving media and communities.
- Able to contribute fresh, practical ideas for PR campaigns and programs.
- Genuinely interested in public relations, travel trends, and current social issues.
