About the Role

Mantra Circle on Cavill sits in the heart of Surfers Paradise, only a short stroll from the light rail. The property offers sweeping views over the Gold Coast beaches and hinterland, and features dual towers with one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, two lagoon pools, and a 12-seat cinema. Role Purpose

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be part of the housekeeping team and play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all shared spaces. The role suits someone who is comfortable working on their own as well as with others, and who enjoys assisting guests with questions and requests in a friendly way.

Key Duties

• Keep the property looking polished and well maintained at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
• Clean and refresh public areas such as pool spaces, gym areas, and shared bathrooms to a high standard.
• Use specialist cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and with safety as a priority.
• Support guests with general enquiries and security-related concerns, while working closely with other departments to get tasks done.
• Notice and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, missing equipment, and other issues to the appropriate teams as soon as possible.

Skills and Experience

Prior experience in a similar position, such as cleaner, room attendant, or public area attendant, is preferred. You should communicate in a friendly, approachable manner and make guests and colleagues feel comfortable. Strong attention to detail, good time management, and an efficient approach to work are important. The job also requires physical capability to work across indoor and outdoor environments, including stairways and uncovered spaces. You should enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and be dependable with transport and shift availability, including weekends and public holidays.
