Role Summary

This full-time, on-site opportunity is for a Proposal Writing and Fundraising Trainee based in Kampala. The role centers on proposal development, technical writing, RFP preparation and submission, and related communication work.

What You Will Do

You will be expected to clearly frame problems and service gaps, spot opportunities that can shape project and program design, and support goal setting, objective formulation, and the creation of monitoring and evaluation tools. This includes helping build frameworks such as logic models, theories of change, and log frames.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal person should bring proposal management and proposal writing ability, experience with technical writing and RFP submissions, and the capacity to identify opportunities that influence project or program design. Strong communication, independent working ability, teamwork, careful attention to detail, and solid time management are important. The role also calls for research ability to uncover business and work opportunities, an interest in entrepreneurship and technology, and a working understanding of budgeting and financial literacy. Applicants should currently be pursuing or have completed a degree in Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
