Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous, bilingual Proposal Coordinator to support government tender tracking, localize bid content, and help deliver polished, high-quality submissions in a fast-moving consultancy setting. The position connects opportunity monitoring, business translation, and proposal presentation, with a strong focus on responding effectively to RFPs in Saudi government portals such as Etimad.
This role is best suited to someone who can write and translate confidently in both Arabic and English, maintain a strong eye for formatting, and coordinate multiple stakeholders within tight deadlines.
Work Location
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Track Etimad and other relevant procurement sites every day to identify new tender opportunities.
- Classify RFPs by relevance and quickly inform the appropriate internal teams.
- Keep a bid schedule updated with submission dates, deadlines, and task ownership.
- Translate proposals and technical materials between English and Arabic at a professional standard.
- Ensure translations are accurate, properly toned, and aligned with tender requirements and formal language expectations.
- Review proposal documents for layout quality, consistency, readability, and overall presentation.
- Make sure submission packs comply with brand guidelines, regulatory expectations, and client-specific formatting rules.
- Assist with automation initiatives such as centralized RFP libraries, tracking dashboards, and reporting templates.
Experience and Profile
The preferred candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in proposal coordination, business translation, content management, or bid writing, ideally in consulting, ICT, or public-sector environments. Strong coordination skills, excellent time management, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are essential.
Applicants should be highly fluent in Arabic and English, with demonstrable experience translating formal business or government-related content. Strong attention to detail is important, particularly for document formatting and layout refinement. Comfort with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is expected, while experience with SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, or proposal tools would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Etimad or similar Saudi government procurement systems is helpful but not mandatory. Familiarity with Saudi public procurement rules, document formats, and terminology is also beneficial.
Preferred Working Style
The role suits someone with experience in consulting, professional services, or government advisory settings who can collaborate effectively across functions and with remote or cross-cultural teams. A proactive, organized, self-driven approach and the ability to manage several priorities with minimal supervision are important.
Application Notes
Only direct applications will be considered. Applications submitted through recruitment agencies will not be reviewed.
Applications are welcomed from all people, including candidates with severe disabilities, and selection is based on talent and enthusiasm rather than age, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, origin, religion, or physical characteristics.
