Job description
Company Overview
Coastal Noosa is a boutique real estate agency that focuses on delivering a high standard of service while putting client outcomes and well-being first. The business is built around thoughtful support throughout the property journey, with strong communication, attentive listening, and careful attention to detail. Its goal is to provide a service experience that goes beyond conventional industry expectations and fosters long-term relationships.
Role Summary
This position is for a property manager who will take ownership of a growing portfolio of residential homes. The role is centered on keeping properties well cared for while ensuring owners and tenants receive responsive, professional support. It is a remote role, so the successful person must be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively through digital channels.
Key Duties
- Manage and expand a portfolio of residential properties.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance to keep properties in good condition.
- Oversee lease administration, renewals, and related documentation.
- Respond to tenant questions, concerns, and day-to-day issues.
- Carry out property inspections and follow up on any required actions.
- Keep property information accurate and up to date.
- Track rental payments and monitor tenancy-related records.
- Assist with promoting available properties.
Requirements
Applicants should have prior experience in property management or residential real estate, particularly across lease administration and tenant relationship management. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important, along with the ability to build trust with owners and tenants. The role also calls for solid organisational skills, effective time management, and the capability to handle multiple properties and deadlines at once. Comfort using property management software, CRM systems, and standard office tools is expected. Good judgement and practical problem-solving are needed when dealing with maintenance matters, disputes, or more complex client requests. Familiarity with rental laws and property management best practices is preferred, though the willingness to learn quickly is also valued. The role requires someone who can work autonomously in a remote setup while staying aligned with owners, tenants, and colleagues. A relevant property management certification or qualification is also required.
Additional Information
This is a remote full-time position based in Noosa, Queensland, Australia.
