About Wonder

Wonder is a unique mealtime platform that allows customers to satisfy every craving in a single order. We combine offerings from over 20 exclusive restaurants, providing a vast variety of dishes ranging from tacos to Thai cuisine, all with zero delivery fees. Customers can enjoy meals via dine-in, pickup, or delivery. Each dish is freshly prepared by our culinary team and served hot. Wonder manages every aspect of the dining experience internally—from recipe creation to the technology enabling seamless service—ensuring quality and consistency at scale.

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager specialized in Software and Robotics to enhance our development processes, align engineering teams, and oversee execution. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product, you will integrate closely with our software engineering team to manage the operational and administrative rhythm of software delivery. This includes sprint planning, backlog management, timeline tracking, and cross-team communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute software sprint lifecycles, including planning, kickoff, daily stand-ups, backlog upkeep, and retrospectives.
  • Translate product milestones into detailed project timelines aligning tasks with overall master schedules.
  • Maintain and organize project management tools like Jira and Confluence to accurately reflect project status and simplify updates for internal teams.
  • Expand scope by supporting the Infinite Makeline Product, coordinating cross-functional timelines connecting software, hardware, and operations.
  • Adopt a high-ownership mindset tackling all team needs from administrative support to documentation maintenance.
  • Beyond software, manage culinary testing on the Infinite Makeline, track outcomes, coordinate communication across Wonder teams, and own documentation for training and new features.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or Human-Computer Interaction.
  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5+ years in project management with hands-on experience overseeing engineering workflows, sprint cycles, or technical projects.
  • Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a commitment to structured and efficient software development processes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Excel for backlog maintenance and visual timeline preparation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills ensuring clarity and accessibility of timelines and documentation.
  • Strong communicative ability to bridge complex technical details and overarching project timelines.
  • Interest in robotics and working with software that controls robotic and automation systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The Massachusetts base salary ranges between 128000 and 135500 USD annually, with adjustments based on candidate location, skills, education, training, and experience. The package includes competitive salary, equity, 401K benefits, and a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans alongside other unlisted perks.

Diversity and Inclusion

Wonder is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams and evaluates candidates based on potential without discrimination. We participate in the federal E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility and support accommodations during the interview process.
