Role Overview
Densford Civil is seeking a Project Manager to oversee civil construction work across the Perth metropolitan area. This is a full-time, site-based opportunity with a long-established Western Australian company that has been operating for more than 30 years. The business is looking for someone committed to long-term growth and also welcomes Senior Project Engineers who are ready for the next career step.
What You Will Be Doing
- Keep projects aligned with agreed objectives and service deliverables.
- Support field crews on each site so work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Check the quality of work completed by in-house teams and subcontractors.
- Make sure all work follows drawings, specifications, and relevant authority requirements.
- Help coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractor resources.
- Track project progress and work out income based on the tender schedule.
- Work closely with client representatives and government bodies.
- Provide guidance and support to site supervisors.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers.
Background and Requirements
- A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline is required, with civil engineering preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in land development, underground services, pavements, and earthworks projects.
- Exposure to both smaller and larger projects is an advantage.
- Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Experience in direct management and strong communication abilities.
- Working knowledge of contracts and project cost control.
- A strong commitment to occupational health and safety.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Permanent work rights in Australia.
