Role overview
This position is for a Project Manager who will mainly operate in Mountain Standard Time. The role focuses on guiding assigned projects from start to finish, working alongside a designated project owner and project team to help deliver outcomes successfully and consistently across the organization.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and run the meetings needed with the project owner and project team so everyone stays focused on the most important tasks and deadlines.
- Handle several projects at the same time.
- Prepare, maintain, and update project plans, documentation, and progress reports, along with clear goals, meeting agendas, and detailed notes with follow-up actions when required.
- Build strong working relationships within the team and encourage engagement while keeping work moving forward with confidence and clear direction.
- Work with the project owner to quickly identify and put forward alternate solutions when challenges or blockers come up.
- Maintain a solid understanding of each project under management and stay in control of the full project lifecycle.
- Apply recognized project management methods, tools, and resources to support effective communication, reporting, and delivery consistency.
What you need
- A college diploma, university degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMP certification, an equivalent certification, or active progress toward PMP or another project management certification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience successfully delivering projects using strong project management practices.
- Good knowledge of the project lifecycle, along with practical experience using both Agile and traditional methods in a hybrid approach when needed.
- Familiarity with project and portfolio management software and related tools.
Compensation and benefits
The selected candidate is expected to begin at a base salary of $78,000. This role also qualifies for bonus pay. Total annual compensation is expected to range from $78,000 to $110,000, depending on performance, time in role, and variable compensation earned.
