Job description
Role overview
Join Apple’s Partner Ecosystems team as a Project Manager focused on partner enablement and onboarding across Apple product lines for Device Enrollment. In this role, you will help drive partner integration efforts with global and regional teams while contributing to the design and rollout of Apple’s next-generation partner integration and collaboration platform.
The team works with channel partners to connect their systems with Apple’s in support of program delivery. This role supports the Device Enrollment Program, which helps institutions deploy and manage owned devices through automated mobile device management enrollment. The position calls for a structured, proactive, detail-focused professional who can manage programs and projects effectively, communicate well with people at all levels, and navigate ambiguity while helping resolve issues and move work forward. Some travel may be needed.
Key responsibilities
- Guide channel partners through the integration journey and explain the program’s business, technical, accounting, and legal expectations to their project teams.
- Work closely with regional sales teams to define integration timelines and align expectations with prospective partners.
- Run onsite workshops with selected partners to discuss how the program will fit into their business, including strategy, systems, and affected processes.
- Advise on scalable system and process design that improves efficiency, enhances customer experience, and reduces manual work.
- Act as the link between partner technical teams and Apple IS&T teams, supporting project execution, engagement, testing, and go-live problem resolution.
- Maintain internal schedules with cross-functional stakeholders by sharing regular status updates, raising regional issues, and contributing to global improvements in systems and processes.
Minimum qualifications
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience along with at least 6 years of relevant industry experience. A strong background in project management, especially around enterprise tools or systems, is required. Candidates should understand enterprise integration technologies such as EDI, APIs, web services, FTP, and web portals. Experience in at least two of the following areas is expected: B2B API integration using JSON, B2B or B2C sales and account management, sales operations and process management, or business process re-engineering. Proficiency with macOS and productivity tools such as Keynote, Pages, FileMaker, and Excel is also needed. Familiarity with subscription services and invoicing, experience writing technical and program documentation, and a history of presenting technical and business requirements to cross-functional and senior audiences are important. The role also requires strong analytical and problem-solving ability to address complex integration issues and operational escalations, plus the capacity to manage several projects at once with close attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
A PMP certification is preferred. Additional strengths include a strong commitment to customer experience, an understanding of consumer psychology, a results-driven mindset, and the willingness to do whatever is necessary to complete a project. The ideal candidate can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, stay effective through uncertainty, and manage expectations across resellers, carriers, and internal cross-functional partners.
