Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring it is delivered to the agreed scope, contract terms, schedule, budget, quality benchmarks, and HSE requirements. This position involves guiding project teams, coordinating with key stakeholders, and making sure the work progresses efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

What You Will Do

  • Direct every stage of execution, from site mobilization through final completion and handover.
  • Build, track, and manage schedules, budgets, resources, and critical project milestones.
  • Oversee manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and other site assets to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, planning, procurement, commercial, QA/QC, and HSE functions to keep the project aligned with its goals.
  • Review project progress and put recovery or corrective measures in place whenever performance slips.
  • Spot project risks early and manage claims, changes, and contractual matters effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with the client, consultant, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ensure the project follows contract obligations, company policies, quality expectations, and HSE rules.
  • Prepare progress updates, forecasts, and management reports for review and decision-making.
  • Focus on productivity, cost discipline, quality outcomes, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage. The role calls for at least 20 years of experience in construction, including a minimum of 8 years handling Project Manager responsibilities on large infrastructure or civil construction projects. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing major subcontractors is required. A solid understanding of construction contracts, project management practices, and international construction standards is also expected. Professional credentials such as PMP or an equivalent certification are preferred.

Skills and Competencies

The role requires strong leadership, planning, coordination, contract administration, risk control, commercial awareness, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Candidates should also be comfortable using project management tools and Microsoft Office, and be capable of managing competing priorities in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This position may be based at project sites and corporate offices depending on business needs. It involves close day-to-day coordination with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, project management teams, and senior leadership. The work setting is fast-moving and supports large-scale, high-profile projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
