About the team
Regional Operations is Shopee’s cross-market operations function focused on launching and improving initiatives that raise efficiency, lift productivity, and keep the buyer and seller experience strong.
Within this function, the Project Management Office supports and coordinates work across teams such as Customer Service, Return and Refunds, Fraud, and other operational stakeholders. The team also drives important priorities including cost management and user experience. PMO project managers work in a fast-changing environment, balancing shifting project needs while keeping delivery focused on the intended outcome.
What you will do
- Support the planning and delivery of strategic, high-impact projects across operations areas such as Customer Service, Payments, Listings, Warehousing, Logistics, Seller Operations, and Fraud.
- Set project goals clearly, monitor execution, and keep initiatives moving toward successful completion on schedule.
- Work closely with local and regional partners, using both numbers and qualitative input to identify problems and build practical solutions for current operations.
- Create and roll out reporting workflows that reflect business needs and the data available.
- Track cost drivers across markets and recommend resource allocation actions that support platform growth plans.
- Use strong analytical thinking and a practical, hands-on approach to deliver measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in consulting, internal strategy, or e-commerce, which is preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL is needed.
- You should be able to apply structured analytical thinking to business challenges.
- Experience handling data, extracting insights, building reporting templates, and turning findings into workable, data-led solutions is important.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are required, including handling senior and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to coordinate initiatives and projects involving internal and external parties.
- You must be able to organize tasks across multiple stakeholders, track project status, and deliver objectives on time.
