HOYA Electronics Singapore is offering a 2-year fixed-term, on-site opportunity for a Production Technician at its Singapore headquarters. The role supports dependable and efficient production line activities, working alongside the manufacturing team to keep daily operations running smoothly and maintain stable process performance. This position plays an important part in protecting productivity and quality so that customers receive reliable, high-standard products.

Key responsibilities
- Run equipment and perform manufacturing activities according to standard operating procedures, with attention to safety, efficiency, and product consistency
- Prepare materials, keep track of inventory, conduct visual inspections, and monitor downtime and yield data to help improve the process
- Keep production records accurate, complete, and current so documentation remains compliant with requirements
- Support other operational needs and handle additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to ensure workflow continues without interruption
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Alternatively, candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor sector, or with a background in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or similar technical roles, will be preferred.
Applicants should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities are also important, along with an eagerness to learn new machinery and working methods.
Additional information
This role requires readiness to work a 12-hour rotating day and night shift pattern, following a schedule of 4 working days, 3 rest days, 3 working days, and 4 rest days. The position is also based in a cleanroom environment and may require overtime when needed.
