With more than 30 years of experience across production, distribution, and after-sales support for audio-visual and home appliance products, the group has built a strong reputation in its sector. Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Mannheim for a professional focused on production planning and supply chain coordination. The role is centered on creating and maintaining production schedules that make efficient use of resources while ensuring customer orders are completed on time. It requires close collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to keep material flow aligned with production requirements.
Key Duties
The position includes monitoring inventory, identifying and addressing supply chain delays, reviewing demand projections and production data, preparing regular performance and capacity reports, and contributing to ongoing improvements in planning and supply chain operations. The role also involves working across departments to strengthen communication, simplify workflows, and support reliable product availability and delivery performance.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should bring strong production planning knowledge and experience managing production schedules. Analytical thinking and planning ability are important for demand forecasting, data interpretation, and process optimization. Clear communication is needed to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Previous exposure to supply chain management, inventory control, or manufacturing operations is preferred, especially in consumer electronics or home appliances. Familiarity with ERP or planning systems and MS Office, particularly Excel, is expected for reporting and analysis. A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline — or equivalent hands-on experience — is required. The role also calls for the ability to work on-site in Mannheim, handle multiple priorities, and stay detail-oriented in a fast-moving environment. Knowledge of continuous improvement approaches such as Lean or Kaizen, along with awareness of quality and safety standards, would be an added advantage.
