Role overview

This position is based in a regulated and highly competitive environment and focuses on operating filling activities for small and large packs while maintaining strong standards in safety, quality, compliance, and productivity.

Work environment

  • You will collaborate with company employees as well as contract manpower provided by Dulsco or other vendors.
  • No external customer-facing interaction is expected.
  • The role requires clear and accurate communication.
  • The position sits within a regulated and competitive market, with strict expectations around HSSEQ, ISO requirements, statutory obligations, competitive awareness, and process improvement.

Health, safety, quality, environment and energy

  • Carry out daily tasks in line with the company vision, mission, HSSEQ policies, the Group HSEQ Charter, company rules, One-Maestro standards, and approved safety procedures.
  • Take part in risk assessments, critical task analysis, HSSEQ training, safety walks, plant inspections, and behavioural safety observations.
  • Contribute to Sustainab’ALL initiatives linked to the company’s 5 levers, including energy efficiency and CO2 reduction, in support of 2030 and 2050 environmental goals.
  • Work with diligence, discipline, vigilance, and professionalism in all HSE-related activities.
  • Prevent quality or safety incidents caused by negligence, carelessness, or overconfidence.
  • Report near misses, incidents, hazards, and injuries to the line manager within the required timelines.
  • Stay open to new training topics and actively participate in toolbox meetings for QHSE and energy improvements.
  • Support incident investigations and analysis when needed.
  • Follow all current legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the assigned duties.
  • Comply with the Permit to Work system according to the assigned PTW responsibilities.
  • Ensure suitable PPE is available and worn correctly at all times in the work area.
  • Maintain full authority to stop any activity if there is a safety concern.

Compliance

  • Act in line with the Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, showing integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Follow compliance requirements covering conflicts of interest, fraud prevention, anti-corruption, economic sanctions, and export control.
  • Escalate any compliance breach, especially those related to sanctions or export control, to the designated compliance officer without delay.

Production facility and operating scope

  • The small-pack filling unit has a capacity of 99 KMT.
  • The big-pack filling unit has a capacity of 120 KMT.
  • The site includes 3 fully automated high-speed small-pack filling lines with advanced control systems.
  • It also includes two automated drum filling units and one automated pail filling unit.
  • Operations cover more than 160 SKUs for small packs and more than 200 SKUs for drums and pails.
  • Small packs include 1L, 3L, 4L, and 5L formats.
  • Big packs include 208L, 20L, and 25L formats.
  • The facility includes automated label storage, label applicators, automated strapping, robot and pick-and-place systems, case formers, can/carton weighing checkers, capping machines, cap and label detection systems, can inkjet printers, and unscrambler units.
  • The empty drum storage area can hold up to 1,500 drums and includes label printers, automated drum strapping, an automated drum palletizer, and a laser engraving machine.
  • Productivity is tracked using a Lean cure tool, while labels are applied through print-and-apply software and in-house label printing software.

Key duties

  • Run filling operations for both small and big packs, including drums and pails.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for filling activities at all times.
  • Manage line changeovers efficiently and ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
  • Be accountable to the Production Supervisor (Filling) and Production Engineer for operational productivity and explain results clearly.
  • Help meet and improve KPI and EnPI targets aligned to broader QHSE and energy objectives.
  • Escalate any non-conformities found during production or dispatch to the Production Engineer.
  • Protect quality and safety in the line, especially where unsafe actions could create higher risk.
  • Keep the work area organized using 5S and visual management practices and contribute to Kaizen activities.
  • Charge VI Polymer into VI batches within the standard operating time.
  • Carry out Jetty/Tank Farm Operator duties during base oil shipment offloading when required.
  • Perform decantation work according to standard procedures when needed.
  • Work to improve and maintain filling machine OEE against target.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the assigned area.
  • Follow waste management and waste segregation rules on filling lines.
  • Comply with loss control management procedures.

  • Support daily output targets and keep operations flowing smoothly.
  • Protect product quality and act quickly on non-conformities.
  • Help maintain equipment performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Encourage safe behaviour, accurate reporting, and clean working conditions.
  • Uphold ethical behaviour and company compliance requirements.

Qualification and profile

The ideal candidate has Higher Secondary Education (12th Grade), or Secondary Education (10th Grade) along with a technical diploma in a specialized field lasting 1 to 3 years. A school or technical diploma certificate is required.

Technical capabilities

  • Hands-on experience with automated filling and packaging lines for small and big packs.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with quality control, defect detection, FMEA, and RCA tools.
  • Understanding of HSSEQ, ISO standards, and emergency equipment usage.
  • Ability to operate label printers, palletizers, strapping systems, weight checkers, and storage equipment.

Soft skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for coordination with supervisors, engineers, and contract workers.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to identify issues and support improvement work.
  • Adaptability and resilience in shift-based and changing work conditions.
  • Good time management for handling changeovers and sustaining production flow.

Additional knowledge

  • Ability to read, write, distinguish, and compare product and packaging requirements online, and detect mistakes linked to supplier errors.
  • Familiarity with stock control, including material usage recording and consumption tracking.
  • Basic understanding of production cost components.

Language requirements

  • English: basic reading and writing ability.
  • Hindi is preferred as an additional language.
