About the Role
As a Service Product Owner at Emirates NBD, you will be responsible for guiding the development and rollout of branch services. Your primary goal is to ensure these services effectively address customer requirements and support the bank's strategic aims. You will serve as a crucial link between the branch operations and the IT department, significantly contributing to an improved customer journey and increased operational efficiency within the organization.
Key Results & Tasks
Product Roadmap and Prioritization
Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap that is in sync with business objectives, customer demands, and current market dynamics.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish a clear product vision.
- Determine the priority of backlog items based on their potential impact and practical feasibility.
- Effectively manage and balance the needs of users, the limitations of technology, and the overarching business goals.
User-Centric Design and Usability
Create intuitive and user-friendly features designed to elevate the overall customer experience.
- Undertake user research to pinpoint customer pain points and areas for improvement.
- Translate identified user needs into precise and actionable requirements.
- Champion and implement user-centric design principles throughout the development process.
Continuous Improvement and Adaptation
Implement iterative enhancements to the product in response to user feedback and evolving requirements.
- Facilitate retrospective meetings with the team to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
- Adjust the product roadmap dynamically to accommodate market changes and emerging trends.
- Cultivate an environment that promotes ongoing learning and agile methodologies.
