Role overview

The Product Development Coordinator supports the Sourcing team with administrative and day-to-day coordination tasks. This role centers on helping manage the purchase order workflow from creation through final updates, while also supporting sample tracking and the smooth start of development work with overseas partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep the Bamboo Rose PLM system updated and accurate.
  • Manage lab dip color information.
  • Request line review samples and update agent allocations.
  • Handle purchase order requests and all related revisions.
  • Support the tracking and requesting of samples.
  • Help prepare and maintain seasonal recap charts, lab dip charts, and other ad hoc reports or documents.
  • Organize and maintain department files within Sourcing systems.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Merchandise Planning to align on the information required for new POs and PO changes.
  • Communicate with Far East Sourcing partners, third-party vendors, and internal teams as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and additional department needs when assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or comparable practical experience in place of a degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational ability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stay flexible and adapt quickly in a busy, team-based environment.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides is an advantage.
  • Interest in the brand and the customer it serves.
  • Positive, proactive approach to work.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior production experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional information

The target annual salary for this role is $50,000 to $54,000. Final compensation may depend on qualifications, relevant experience, and skills. Eligibility for certain benefits and associate programs depends on employment type and role.

This is an on-site position, with at least 4 days per week required in the Ann Taylor office location in New York City, based on business needs.
