Role overview
MKG is hiring a Producer to support major programs as well as smaller-scale assignments, with a strong emphasis on project coordination and client partnership. The role sits within a women-led creative agency that develops brand actions through live, digital, virtual, and hybrid experiences, employee engagement programs, and social impact initiatives.
This position is open for candidates based in or near New York or Los Angeles. Team members are expected to work in person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, so the ideal candidate should live within commuting distance of either office.
The assignment begins as a four-month short-term engagement and is expected to transition into a full-time role.

What you will do
- Translate client goals and success measures into event strategies that support the broader objective.
- Prepare scopes of work when needed to clearly define deliverables and expectations.
- Keep projects moving on schedule and within approved budgets.
- Track spending and labor hours to protect profitability.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep materials and deadlines aligned.
- Build and maintain budgets that support target margins.
- Guide and support junior team members while encouraging their professional development.
- Respond to client concerns promptly and effectively.
- Spot opportunities to expand work within existing accounts.
- Deliver consistently strong execution across client and agency projects.
- Travel as required for on-site event support and client meetings.
- Manage activation planning and post-event reporting or closeout.
- Develop trusted client relationships and set clear expectations.
- Identify, source, and negotiate with venues and vendors.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, staffing, and on-site logistics.
Requirements
- Interest in event production and experiential marketing.
- At least 4 years of relevant production experience.
- Strong understanding of the experiential events landscape.
- Proven ability to lead work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Creative and practical problem-solving capability.
- Experience estimating costs and evaluating projects.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Working knowledge of Google Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presence when working with varied stakeholders.
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Capacity to meet demanding deadlines and assess situations quickly.
- Sound judgment and creativity in decision-making.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

In good faith, MKG is sharing the minimum and maximum base salary it expects to offer at the time of posting. Compensation will be aligned with experience.
