Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist position is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai focused on managing the complete purchasing cycle. The role covers purchase order preparation and processing, supplier coordination, contract and price negotiations, and making sure materials and services arrive on schedule.

You will help develop and sustain a dependable supplier network, track vendor performance, and ensure sourcing decisions support project quality standards and budget limits. The role also requires close coordination with design, project management, and finance teams to forecast material requirements, keep inventory levels efficient, and align procurement plans with project timelines.

In addition, the position involves maintaining precise procurement documentation, reviewing cost information, and contributing to process improvements that make sourcing and purchasing more efficient.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience handling purchase orders and core procurement activities is essential.
  • Experience in evaluating suppliers and monitoring vendor performance is important for building a stable supplier base.
  • Strong negotiation ability is needed to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service commitments.
  • Analytical capability is required to compare offers, review costs, and support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or similar sectors is an advantage.
  • Clear communication and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organization, and familiarity with procurement or ERP systems are beneficial.
  • A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
