Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing processes adhering to both internal and client standards.
  • Lead initiatives in automation including conceptual design, vendor coordination, approval, commissioning, and upgrading of high-speed assembly lines.
  • Guarantee process preparedness prior to Start of Production (SOP) by managing PFMEA, Control Plans, and maintaining comprehensive process documentation.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis, design line layouts, optimize cycle times, and drive cost reduction efforts.
  • Enhance plant productivity through Lean methodologies, Kaizen practices, waste elimination (Muda), and the utilization of digital manufacturing tools.
  • Direct and mentor a team of Process and Automation Engineers, collaborating closely with Maintenance, Quality, Production, and worldwide engineering teams.
  • Administer CAPEX and OPEX budgets linked to process improvements, automation projects, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as IATF16949, FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and maintain Bills of Material (BOM), routing, and standard times within ERP/SAP systems.
