For its Bodyshop Aftersales team in Qatar, the company is seeking an experienced Pro Body Technician. The position centers on restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer-approved standards with a strong emphasis on safety, workmanship quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Perform panel repairs, panel changes, structural restoration, and dent correction according to repair orders and workshop procedures.
- Use measuring and alignment equipment to return vehicles to factory specifications.
- Handle body repair tools and workshop machinery safely, including welding and sanding equipment.
- Deliver durable, accurate repairs with a first-time-right approach and consistent quality.
- Observe health, safety, and housekeeping rules while keeping the work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly.
- Safeguard customer vehicles throughout the repair process and help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Finish assigned work within target timeframes to support workshop output and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school completion plus a technical qualification in engineering or car body construction and repair.
- 3 to 4 years of experience working as a denter or body technician, with at least 2 years on monocoque bodies.
- Strong understanding of body repair techniques, structural alignment, panel replacement, and dent repair.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, repair instructions, and workshop manuals in English.
- Good knowledge of safe work methods, quality standards, and correct use of bodyshop tools and equipment.
- Practical experience with major body repairs and vehicle structural rebuilding.
- Confidence in using specialist tools, measuring systems, and body alignment equipment.
- Strong attention to repair quality, productivity, cleanliness, and detail.
- Willingness to complete internal training, assessments, and certification requirements.
Team environment
You will be part of a fast-moving Bodyshop Aftersales team in Qatar and will report to the Bodyshop Supervisor. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues who are focused on high repair standards, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
