Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position is based on Lagos Island, Lagos State. The Private Professional Janitor will ensure that offices, studios, restrooms, and shared spaces are kept clean, sanitary, and well presented. The role includes day-to-day cleaning tasks, careful use of cleaning tools and materials, reporting repair or safety concerns, and helping maintain a professional setting for staff, guests, and visitors.

Key Duties

The janitor will work with administrative and facilities personnel, follow scheduled cleaning routines, and assist with occasional special cleaning requirements connected to events or broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of janitorial work and housekeeping, including everyday cleaning, deep-cleaning tasks, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to deal politely and helpfully with staff, guests, and visitors when responding to cleaning or facility-related requests.
• Background in training or a willingness to learn cleaning methods, safety practices, and correct equipment handling.
• A service-minded approach is an added advantage, especially when helping maintain a polished and welcoming environment.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work through checklists and schedules with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move supplies and equipment during the workday.
• Prior experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities support roles, ideally in offices, hotels, or media settings.
• Good spoken and written English skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions.

Work Conditions
