Role Overview
Youfoodz is hiring a Night Shift Pre-operational Supervisor to take charge of hygiene standards at its production site. In this position, you will help ensure the facility is thoroughly cleaned, safe, and ready for production at the start of each day.
The role is located at the Brisbane facility in Karawatha and reports to the Team Leader and Pre-operational Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate a cleaning team to consistently meet high hygiene expectations.
- Approve pre-operational cleaning activities together with the QA team, covering both scheduled and occasional cleans.
- Help build a strong performance culture through coaching, cross-training, and constructive communication.
- Run daily pre-start meetings so the team is clear on production and safety needs.
- Oversee chemical use and maintain safety records in Beakon to support a safe workplace.
- Look into hygiene issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and process improvements.
- Work four 10-hour shifts each week, from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am.
Experience and Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in food manufacturing or another hygiene-sensitive environment.
- Good knowledge of GMP, sanitation procedures, and chemical safety.
- Availability for rotating fortnightly shifts, including every second weekend, on a 6:00 pm to 4:00 am schedule.
- A proactive communication style with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with QA and Production teams.
- A resilient, detail-focused approach and a strong commitment to safety and performance.
Additional Information
This is a permanent full-time role. The candidate must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
The position is based in Karawatha, Brisbane, with on-site parking available.
