Job description

Overview

The Department of Children and Families is inviting applications for the position of Practice Leader within the Practice Development Directorate. This role is focused on providing expert leadership and strategic direction to enhance the capability of child and family welfare practices. The aim is to foster a culture of practice excellence by implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives. There are two openings for this role, with the possibility to be based in either Alice Springs or Darwin, depending on agreement with the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the development of child and family welfare practices within the agency.
  • Drive a culture focused on practice excellence through ongoing quality improvement activities.
  • Strengthen professional capabilities to improve child and family welfare outcomes.
