Job description
Role Overview
Alef International is hiring a PR & Communications Specialist in Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, to lead and support strategic communication work across media relations, stakeholder engagement, investor communications, and crisis response. This full-time role will help shape communications for a major development project, including launches, executive messaging, reputation management, and integrated campaigns that support Vision 2030 objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of communication strategies, launch plans, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and broader integrated campaigns that support organizational goals.
- Create and refine communications materials such as press releases, core messages, media packs, executive statements, presentations, Q&As, and briefing notes in both Arabic and English.
- Manage coordination with media outlets, government bodies, investors, subject-matter experts, and strategic partners across local, regional, and international audiences.
- Support project launches, executive profiling, investor-facing communications, spokesperson preparation, media engagements, events, conferences, forums, and activation activities.
- Assist with crisis communications planning, including risk evaluation, response workflows, simulation exercises, and reputation protection efforts.
- Track media coverage and stakeholder sentiment, assess the impact of communications efforts, and help improve reporting and ongoing communication performance.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Public Affairs, or a closely related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, public affairs, or strategic communications is required.
- Hands-on experience supporting high-visibility project launches, stakeholder outreach, and media campaigns is expected.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities in both Arabic and English are essential.
- Familiarity with the Saudi media environment, government communication practices, and stakeholder engagement approaches is important.
- Experience in development, infrastructure, tourism, investment, real estate, or public-sector projects is considered an advantage.
- Strong coordination, organization, project management, and relationship-building capabilities are needed.
