Role Overview

This is a supervisor position based in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. The roster runs from Sunday to Thursday, with shift times varying, so applicants must be available across those days.

As a Supervisor, you will partner with the store management team to lead your department, strengthen customer experience, and keep standards consistently high. The role calls for hands-on leadership, a strong sales focus, and close attention to merchandising, replenishment, and team performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the tone for excellent customer service on every interaction.
  • Guide the team to prioritise service and create a service-first culture.
  • Help lift conversion, sales, and KPI results.
  • Coordinate with the back-of-house team to keep product available on the shop floor.
  • Maintain retail standards and ensure the department looks visually strong at all times.
  • Support efforts to improve the department’s financial outcomes.
  • Assist with internal and external loss-prevention and profit-protection processes.
  • Help onboard new team members and contribute to ongoing training.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in retail or a similar environment. You should genuinely enjoy delivering great service, bring a positive and motivating attitude, and be able to manage priorities effectively. Strong people skills, clear communication, and confidence in engaging with customers and colleagues are essential.
