Job description

About the Role

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) is looking for a tech-savvy planning professional who can help improve service delivery in a digital environment. SPF’s core mission is to prevent, deter, and detect crime, and the Service Delivery Department serves as the staff authority for service delivery matters across the organisation.

In this role, you will support SPF in maintaining strong service standards across public-facing interactions. You will be involved in planning work tied to service delivery, policy development, resource coordination, and the improvement of digital services. The role also includes budget planning and monitoring, as well as working with project teams and stakeholders to secure approvals, track expenditure, and report on financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn service-planning priorities into practical long-term action plans for SPF.
  • Coordinate service delivery planning work, including meeting support, policy review, and resource-related matters.
  • Work with system owners to redesign digital services so they are more citizen-focused, accessible, and easy to use.
  • Support the update of SPF’s corporate website so digital services are better organised and application information is clearer.
  • Help roll out new digital services and improve existing ones across SPF.
  • Maintain oversight of budget forecasting and spending to ensure funds are used efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit budget requests or procurement plans on time so projects can move forward without delay.
  • Monitor cash flow and expenses, and provide regular updates on budget needs and spending.

Requirements

  • A relevant academic or professional background.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate well in a team while also working independently when needed.
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Well-organised, careful, and detail-focused.
  • Resilient, committed, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Experience in UI/UX design or digital services projects will be an advantage.

Application Information

Interested candidates should submit an online application through the official government careers portal. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted within two weeks after the application closing date.
