Role Overview
This position is responsible for planning and tracking activities related to fabricated steel structure projects, including fabrication, procurement, and erection timelines. The role also involves reviewing progress against plan, identifying schedule slippages, and supporting corrective action through coordination across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build fabrication, procurement, and erection schedules for assigned projects.
- Track project execution and compare actual progress with planned milestones.
- Spot schedule delays and suggest preventive as well as corrective actions.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, production, QA/QC, logistics, and site teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates.
- Keep project records organized, including schedules, progress logs, and delay analysis documents.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should have 4 to 8 years of experience in steel fabrication or structural steel projects. Prior exposure to fabrication workshop planning and site erection planning will be an advantage.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
