About Magic Bus India Foundation
Magic Bus India Foundation, established in 1999, is dedicated to empowering young individuals to break free from poverty. They achieve this by ensuring young people complete their secondary education and gain the necessary skills for employment. Through their comprehensive 'Childhood to Livelihood' program, Magic Bus supports individuals aged 12 to 24, having positively impacted over 1 million youth across 24 states and 75 districts in India. Role Description
The Placement Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of campus placement activities. This includes providing essential career counseling to participants, designing effective training plans, and cultivating strong relationships with potential employers to enhance job prospects for the program's beneficiaries. The role involves organizing campus recruitment events, actively engaging with students, and staying informed about employment market trends to ensure alignment with the foundation's objectives. A significant part of this position requires collaborating with diverse stakeholders to build a comprehensive and effective placement strategy. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess experience in campus placement and a proven ability to network with employers and various organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in career counseling is required to guide individuals in charting their career paths. The role also demands proven capabilities in training and facilitating skill development programs. A solid understanding of educational systems and strategies that promote employability is necessary. The ability to analyze labor market trends and demands to improve placement outcomes is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented approach and the capacity to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
