Role Overview
The placement officer will act as the main connector between students, employers, alumni, and the institution’s training and placement function. The role focuses on building industry relationships, supporting student career readiness, and coordinating hiring activities that lead to successful placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and hiring teams.
- Identify student training needs and help shape suitable development support.
- Coordinate campus interviews and recruitment drives.
- Support students through one-to-one guidance and group counselling on academic direction, career interests, and short- and long-term goals.
- Help students create effective job search plans and prepare for employment opportunities.
- Create presentation material such as audio-visual decks or brochures to showcase the college to prospective employers.
- Maintain an updated database of student profiles across departments.
- Run placement outreach and campaign activities actively and consistently.
- Support employers in meeting their recruitment requirements.
- Strengthen students’ long-term career decision-making and employability skills.
- Provide tools, resources, and activities that support career planning.
- Serve as a bridge among students, alumni, and the wider employment network.
- Work on improving student skill sets in line with industry expectations.
- Build awareness among students about available career paths and future options.
- Help companies hire suitable candidates based on their needs.
- Assist students in securing final placements with reputed organizations.
- Monitor placement-related advertisements and identify openings that match student profiles.
- Share resumes of appropriate candidates with prospective employers.
- Ensure the right candidate is matched to the right opportunity.
- Conduct placement training to prepare students for interviews and group discussions.
- Obtain management approval for on-campus recruitment drives and communicate details through departmental placement coordinators.
- Act as a liaison between the institution and industries that have signed memorandums of understanding.
- Guide students toward permanent employment opportunities by connecting them with suitable employers.

This position is work from home. Salary is open for deserving candidates. Candidates with a background in healthcare or clinical research are preferred.
