Job description
Role Overview
The Picker / Packer is responsible for precisely selecting and collecting products from inventory to complete customer or store orders efficiently and accurately.
Key Duties
- Carefully read and interpret pick lists or scanning devices to identify items needed for orders.
- Verify that item numbers, labels, and quantities exactly correspond to the order requirements.
- Monitor inventory by reporting missing or damaged goods and updating warehouse management systems promptly.
- Pack items securely, label packages correctly, and move goods to the loading area.
- Operate manual or automated warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or RF scanners.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety by following strict protocols to prevent damage and hazards.
