Job description

Role overview

This position calls for an exceptionally polished Personal Assistant to support a principal within an ultra-high-net-worth household. The role covers both personal support and household coordination, with responsibility for keeping day-to-day life organized, efficient, and discreet. The ideal person is highly experienced, works confidently with minimal guidance, and is prepared to take full ownership of a demanding, high-trust support function.

What you will do

  • Oversee household operations such as scheduling, vendor coordination, and day-to-day logistics.
  • Work closely with nannies and other household staff to help family routines run smoothly.
  • Provide direct support to the principal, including calendar handling, errands, and other ad hoc needs.
  • Stay ahead of needs and make adjustments quickly when priorities change.
  • Take responsibility for projects and tasks end-to-end with limited oversight.
  • Learn and adopt new tools, systems, and workflows quickly.
  • Handle all personal and financial matters with complete confidentiality.

What the role requires

  • A refined, detail-focused approach with very high personal standards.
  • Strong judgment and the flexibility to reprioritize quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Confidence working independently and making decisions without constant direction.
  • Background in household management and collaboration with nannies or similar staff.
  • Comfort with technology and a strong ability to pick up new platforms and processes.
  • Proven discretion and reliability when dealing with sensitive information.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in family office support or personal assistant work.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary in the range of $130,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.
  • Full-time position with a hybrid setup based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
  • Direct, high-trust working relationship with the principal and household.
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career within a family office setting.

Application process

Applicants are expected to submit a resume and cover letter through the online portal. Qualified candidates may be contacted for a review of their background and experience, followed by a 30 to 45 minute vetting conversation. If selected, an unbiased profile will be created to highlight skills, industry exposure, and impact while reducing common sources of bias. That profile is then shared with clients, and support continues through the interview process.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
